Among all bridge software programs out in Canadian market right now, MIDAS is the only software that is embedded with code checking capability as per CHBDC CSA S6-14. This feature is still new to many existing users and could provide good solutions to the non-users, therefore, we are co-hosting an on-site hands-on training program in Edmonton, AB with CSCE - Edmonton Section on Thursday, December 7th, 2017.
During this 1-day training, the entire group will try out and learn how to use the software for modeling, analysis and design of a composite girder bridge model in 3D. Junior engineers will learn how to use midas Civil from the start; senior engineers and engineering managers will get to explore the new CHBDC design checking feature and its output reports. Along with our software training sessions, we will present about some of the local projects done by our user engineers and share how they have utilized midas Civil efficiently. Lastly, MIDAS will also share the plan to further strengthen the relationship with Alberta engineers and firms. Registration deadline is November 24th; since seats are limited, please be sure to register as soon as possible using the invitation below. The registration may be closed early depending on demand. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thank you.
